How it all started....

Hello all and welcome to our NEW website!

This is our first blog which is very exciting stuff!

So we thought we would give you all the background of the shop......

Pets Pantry has been here for over 20 years, Alex Harris now the owner of Pets Pantry has worked there for over 18 years. Alex took over the shop in August 2020 when Lin the former owner retired.
The shop has become very popular in the town over the years with a lot of regular customers that come back each week, it has a warm and welcoming feeling to it and the team always go the extra mile to try and help all of their customers! Sylvia who has also worked at the shop for many years has remained working for Alex.
Since Alex took over in August 2020 he has given the shop a face lift by redecorating, new flooring and signs. Many of the customers have commented on how nice it looks, we are really proud of the job!
Pets Pantry are offering home deliveries now, which are FREE in chard and surrounding areas (min £10 order). This has become very popular during Covid but this service is going to continue beyond Covid.
The shop now has a Facebook page, Instagram & Twitter so please head over and have a look, pop us a like or a follow it would be greatly appreciated!
We are slowly adding extra lines into the shop to offer something for everyone, we do have plans to be able to hold more stock in the near future.

Alex has loved taking over the shop and is always at hand for any advice or help needed.

Thank you for reading.

⭐️ Make sure your dog has a shaded area to lie in, you could swap thick blankets for thinner towels. ⭐️ Change your walking pattern, avoid walks during the peek sunshine. ⭐️ An old paddling pool is a perfect way for dogs to cool down. ⭐️ Dogs paws can easily be burnt on the pavements they are very sensitive so make sure you check how hot they are before your walk. ⭐️ You can buy cool mats for dogs to rest on, or alternatively you can dampen their bedding. ⭐️ Make sure your dog has access to fresh cold water. ⭐️ It might be an idea to hide away the toys while it’s in the peek of the heat to avoid your dog over doing it and causing it to have heat stroke. Please remember we are always at hand for any advice, feel free to drop us a message or pop into the shop 😀. Pets Pantry Team 🐾
